Nantong holds the spring training meeting of the experiment of abacus mental arithmetic education in primary school in 2019

   In order to comprehensively improve the overall quality of the teaching staff of abacus mental arithmetic in our city and promote mutual learning and exchanges among teachers of abacus mental arithmetic experimental schools, on April 21, Nantong Institute of Educational Science and China Museum of abacus mental arithmetic jointly organized the spring training meeting of the experiment of abacus mental arithmetic education in primary schools of Nantong City in 2019, in which 23 experimental schools of abacus mental arithmetic education and nearly 300 teachers participated. Training.

   The training integrates the two sets of teaching materials of Mathematics and Mind Arithmetic, and formulates a complete set of teaching programs and class hours, which are grouped in groups of Grades 1, 2 and 3 at the same time. The training of first-grade teachers is given by Director Zhang Jian of the China Museum of Abacus. He has interpreted the teaching plan and the arrangement of class hours in detail. He has deeply analyzed the important and difficult points from the aspects of teaching process and teaching details, and guided all the teachers to clear up the basic teaching mode of Abacus and to master the teaching methods.

   Wang Xiaoqin, a teacher of Fengli Primary School in Rudong County, trained second-grade teachers. She puts forward teaching suggestions and learning objectives to teachers in four aspects: the classification of abacus addition and subtraction method, teaching plan, analysis and explanation of teaching materials, and arrangement of practice schedule.

   Xu Baoqin, a teacher of Nantong Development Zone Experimental Primary School, shared her valuable experience in implementing the teaching plan and reviewing and sorting out the comprehensive exercises for the third grade teachers. She suggested that teachers should set aside a fixed time every day to do basic skills training and methodological guidance, and carry out special exercises around the "Summary of Classroom Teaching Processes" so that students can learn and practice fruitfully.

   At the training meeting, the three experts encouraged the teachers to study carefully and integrate the two sets of teaching materials reasonably. At the same time, they hoped that they would actively communicate and communicate with each other in QQ group in time, actively participate in and explore the optimization of the classroom teaching of abacus in primary school mathematics, make full use of the classroom time, and strive to make each class become an efficient classroom under normal conditions. Through the training, all teachers have a clearer understanding of what to do and how to do this semester, more detailed and pragmatic, and provide a solid foundation and strong guarantee for further promoting the development of the experimental work of abacus mental arithmetic education in our city.
